SHOT OF THE DAY – MOSSMAN GORGE, AUSTRALIA

Mossman Gorge is a famous tourist attraction not far from Port Douglas in tropical nth Queensland Australia. It is a fantastic area and one that will be featured in a full article soon. This photo was taken at one of the first river lookouts so is not hard to access. There are many opportunities for shots of streams and pretty lagoons, but I like this one for its simplicity and colours that came out with a bit more light. Obviously use of a polariser and ND filter is essential for this effect.

I highly recommend getting here early before the crowds. For maximum  photo taking opportunity make sure you complete the 2.5km loop walk. There are several sidetracks to pretty lagoons and it is well signposted.
