SHOT OF THE DAY – JUNE LAKE LOOP, CALIFORNIA

Living in California, I am spoiled with so many locations and places to photograph on my doorstep. From amazing beaches and coastal locations, to mountains and National Parks deserts and cities too!

June Lake Loop is a spot I had wanted to visit for a long time after seeing photos online. It is described as the Switzerland of California – and you can see why! I wrote a full article on this location HERE if you want to read more about it and see more photos along the trail.

I took this photo with my Hasselblad 503CW and 80mm f/2.8 lens on Fuji PRO 160 – one of my favorite films! I order the film on ebay from Japan and have it shipped over since you can’t purchase it in the US – and it is amazing for landscapes with the rich green tones.
