SHOT OF THE DAY – BARWON HEADS, AUSTRALIA
SHOT OF THE DAY – BARWON HEADS – AUSTRALIA
This shot was taken on a recent family holiday to Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. Initially I was just looking for a nice beach to take the kids. Little did I know what a wonder this place is
I have cycled past this point many times but a hot day, combined with a promise to go to the beach meant I traveled down to the sand. I was shocked to find just how shallow the beach was and how far the tide came in and out. This meant I could walk out 50m and get shots like this one. The kids of course acted accordingly and spent hrs running backwards and forwards being chased by the waves. his image was my favourite, and for me, encapsulates their happy behavior and a beautiful Aussie summer beach scene.
