SHOT OF THE DAY – MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
A photo day with my Dad at Royal Botanic Gardens ended with a quick visit to the Shrine of Remembrance. I wasn’t hopeful of a shot clear of people in the middle of a beautiful autumn Sunday. But I was pleasantly surprised to find it quiet. I found a beautiful tree and was framing the leaves and realised the Shrine could be perfectly placed in the centre of the frame. I walked back to the car knowing this was the ‘shot of the day’.
