SHOT OF THE DAY – CARNABY STREET, LONDON
Probably one of my favorite cities in the world, London is a place that I continue to be drawn back to. My wife and I almost always make a point of stopping there whenever we travel from LA to somewhere in Europe, even for a few days to visit some of our favorite pubs, shops and museums. It never gets old for us.
Carnaby Street has an iconic heritage. The home of the Mods, Skinheads and Punks and still the epicenter of culture and lifestyle in London’s West End, its a series of 14 pedestrian streets filled with awesome shops and restaurants and comes alive at night.
We have spent many Christmas’ in London, so the whole area of Oxford and Regent streets are decorated and lit for the holidays and we always find ourselves wandering and photographing along Carnaby Street.
