Why Film?

Every image here started as a physical negative — exposed on the road, hand-developed, and scanned rather than shot digitally. It’s part of the wider Photo Basecamp archive: soft highlight roll-off, organic grain, and color shaped by chemistry instead of a preset.

Small Web License

Permitted Uses

The purchaser may:

  • Download and store the image for personal use.
  • Use the image on personal social media accounts.
  • Use the image as a personal desktop, mobile, or device wallpaper.
  • Share the image with family and friends for non-commercial purposes.
  • Display the image on a personal website or blog.

Restrictions

The purchaser may not:

  • Sell, redistribute, or give away the image file.
  • Use the image for advertising, marketing, or business purposes.
  • Submit the image to competitions, publications, or stock libraries.
  • Modify the image and claim ownership.
  • Create products for sale using the image.

Attribution

Attribution is appreciated but not required.

Full Resolution Personal Licence

Permitted Uses

The purchaser may:

  • Download and store the full-resolution image.
  • Print the image for personal display.
  • Create personal photo books, albums, or wall art.
  • Use the image on personal websites and social media.
  • Make backup copies for personal use.

Restrictions

The purchaser may not:

  • Use the image for commercial purposes.
  • Sell prints or digital copies.
  • Use the image in advertising or promotional materials.
  • Transfer the licence to another person.
  • Upload the full-resolution file to image-sharing or stock websites.

Not required but appreciated.

Commercial Licence

Permitted Uses

The purchaser may:

Restrictions

A$150-$300

Permitted Uses

Includes all Commercial Licence rights plus:

  • Print advertising.
  • Magazine and editorial use.
  • Large-format printing.
  • Corporate publications.
  • Merchandise produced in limited quantities.

Restrictions

The purchaser may not:

  • Resell the image as a standalone product.
  • Register the image as a trademark.
  • Transfer rights to another party without written permission.

Non-exclusive extended commercial licence.
